Our Victoria Home...

This is our home away from home, for now anyway. As I mentioned before, John's company has provided for us a two bedroom, fully furnished apartment here in Victoria. The house is a converted mansion, which means that it used to be a HUGE house that they separated into different apartments. It's located in a great neighborhood, just in front of us is the Lt. Governor's house and the surrounding houses are also very huge. John's office in downtown Victoria is only a 3 minute drive.

@ BUTCHART GARDENS

Butchart Gardens has been described as one of the most beautiful gardens in the world! John's company hosted their children's Christmas party there today and we got to go in for free! We had a great time walking around the garden! It was beautiful in there! We can't wait until spring and summer when all the flowers are all in bloom! We're definitely going to go back some time soon since John didn't get to bring his camera this time!

SWEET MEMORIES...

Today I bought a Gingerbread Train kit from Zellers (it was on sale!) and the kids couldn't wait to put it together and decorate it. However, when they saw all the candy it came with, they were more excited to have that more than anything else!
